Class-I Restricted T Cell-Associated Molecule (CRTAM) is a protein that is expressed after T cell activation. The interaction of CRTAM with its ligand, nectin-like 2 (Necl2), is required for the efficient production of IL-17, IL-22, and IFN? by murine CD4 T cells, and it plays a role in optimal CD8 T and NK cell cytotoxicity. CRTAM promotes the pro-inflammatory cytokine profile; therefore, it may take part in the immunopathology of autoimmune diseases such as diabetes type 1 or colitis.
Recombinant Cynomolgus CRTAM Protein is expressed from Expi293 with hFc tag at the C-terminal. It contains Ser18-Gly287.

The protein has a predicted MW of 56.6 kDa. Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates to 70-80 kDa based on the Tris-Bis PAGE result.
Immobilized Cynomolgus CRTAM, hFc Tag at 1ug/ml (100ul/well) on the plate. Dose response curve for Biotinylated Anti-CRTAM Antibody, hFc Tag with the EC50 of 20.7ng/ml determined by ELISA. See testing image for detail.

Less than 1EU per ug by the LAL method.
Lyophilized from 0.22 um filtered solution in PBS (pH 7.4). Normally 8% trehalose is added as a protectant before lyophilization.
Reconstituted protein stable at -80 C for 12 months, 4 C for 1 week. Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Shipped at ambient temperature.
Centrifuge tubes before opening. Reconstituting to a concentration of more than 100 ug/ml is recommended. Dissolve the lyophilized protein in distilled water.
