Streptavidin Magnetic Beads are nano-superparamagnetic beads covalently coated with highly purified streptavidin. The beads provide a rapid and efficient method to capture biotinylated molecules, including DNA, RNA, PCR products, oligonucle- otides, antibodies, peptides, and other proteins, which can be subsequently used in a wide variety of applications, including immunopurification, immunoassays, cell isolation, and organelle isolation, etc.

The beads are simply added to samples and biotinylated molecules/cells will bind to the beads.
After washing unbound impurity off, the biotinylated molecules/cells can be eluted from the magnetic beads or the bound magnetic beads can be directly used in downstream experiments.
The process can be completed manually or fully automated for high throughput applications. |
