| UNO selectively targets Mannose Receptor (CD206/MRC1)-expressing Tumor-Associated Macrophages (TAMs), contributing to the suppression of tumor growth, angiogenesis, metastasis, and relapse. Intriguingly, FAM-labeled UNO (FAM-UNO) homes in on TAMs in various cancer models, including breast carcinoma, melanoma, glioma, and gastric carcinoma. Ex vivo organ imaging demonstrates FAM-UNO's exceptional ability to accumulate in sentinel lymph nodes, hinting at its potential in diagnostic imaging and therapeutic targeting of TAMs in solid tumors. It was found that the linear CSPGAKVRC and CSPGAK bind to CD206. |
